JGL is the winner of the "Zlatna kuna” (Golden kuna) plaque, awarded by the Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) – the Rijeka County Chamber chapter for the best large enterprise in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in 2020. The plaques were awarded at a ceremony held by the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Rijeka. Ivo Usmiani, President of JGL’s Management Board, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
"The coronavirus pandemic has affected all of us. It forced us to rethink our plans, models and strategies. This makes the awards we won in 2020 feel all the more special. We have demonstrated our resourcefulness, readiness, agility and tenacity, and we extend our sincere congratulations to all the winners, nominees, as well as those who have managed to survive in the market,” says Usmiani.
In the category of medium-sized enterprises, the award was given to Metis d.d. Kukuljanovo, while ETS d.o.o. Čavle won the award in the category of small enterprises. The Rijeka County Chamber of Economy posthumously awarded the "Zlatna kuna” plaque for lifetime achievement to Nikola Turčić-Mikić, decd.
