JGL’s Green Practices Presented at the CEA Conference

The Rijeka branch of the Croatian Employers’ Association organised a conference titled "New Technologies and Innovation Among Entrepreneurs of Istria and Kvarner” in Opatija.

It is the first of four regional conferences held under the EU project "Promotion of Entrepreneurship” by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the CEA, the Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) and the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CCTC). Employers/CEA members from Istria County and Primorje and Gorski Kotar County and representatives of local and national authorities gathered to discuss economic development, growth of innovation, the creation of high added-value products, and the investment potential of the region.

Our company’s good practices in investing in sustainable development were presented by Goran Šarčević who specialises in the maintenance of energy systems. The topic "JGL and the green economy” introduced the participants to the systematic and dedicated work of JGL employees related to innovation in the energy sector, the INTEGRA 2020 project, and current initiatives that contribute to improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources. The joint action of JGL employees received particular attention and praise, as well as the creative work environment, where great strides in the energy segment are made by taking small steps.
