On 21 October 2025, Women in Adria – the largest regional network of businesswomen and women entrepreneurs – held the “WiA Connect – Quality Management” conference in Zagreb. Participants included experts from various industries, gathered with the aim of exchanging experiences and best practices in developing quality management systems, and reflecting on ways in which quality-focused leadership contributes to business excellence.
JGL was represented at the conference by QA Director Ana Rahelić Žuvić and the Qualified Person for batch release Valentina Štulić. As part of the program, Rahelić Žuvić held an expert lecture entitled "From non-conformity to excellence – the future of quality systems." In her presentation, she emphasised the importance of transforming our approach to quality from a traditional focus on non-conformities to proactively creating an environment that encourages excellence and continuous improvements. She specifically addressed the opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence in this area of business, noting that AI can significantly improve processes, but that key decisions should always be made by experts: "AI makes suggestions, but the decision ultimately rests with a qualified human. Without humans, AI is just an algorithm, but with them it becomes a powerful tool," said Rahelić Žuvić.
The event was a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, network, and present JGL as an organisation that continues to invest in the development of a culture of quality and responsible business.
