JGL Once Again Among Equal Pay Champion Employers

For the third consecutive year, JGL’s commitment to fair and equal opportunities for all employees has been reaffirmed. The Company has been awarded the Equal Pay Champion certificate as part of the Selectio Equal Pay project, confirming that its approach to equality is not a one-off initiative but the result of consistent and continuous effort.

JGL has once again ranked among 29 organisations that met the strict criteria related to pay gap analysis and the transparency of compensation policies. This recognition confirms the creation of a working environment in which opportunities and rewards are based solely on knowledge, contribution and responsibility.

At the ceremony held in Zagreb on 13 March 2026, the certificate was accepted on behalf of JGL by representatives of Corporate HR – Damir Babić, HR Development Expert, and Maja Mandekić, Senior HR Development Specialist.

The Equal Pay programme was developed to encourage employers to establish fair, clear, and comparable pay systems. The certificate is awarded to organisations that regularly analyse their compensation systems, eliminate potential inequalities and implement transparent processes for all employees.

This topic is closely linked to JGL’s ESG initiative "Promoting Equal Opportunities and Competitive Compensation", launched in 2024. The programme includes the development of a methodology for assessing equality, the introduction of clear and transparent criteria, continuous monitoring of the pay system, and the training of managers.

This certificate is not merely a formal recognition, but a reflection of the values JGL fosters every day – creating a working environment in which everyone has equal opportunities for development and advancement, while also serving as an incentive for the further improvement of processes and the promotion of best practices within the industry.

Alongside JGL, the certificate recipients include: A1 Hrvatska, Addiko Bank Banja Luka, Addiko Bank Hrvatska, Atlantic Grupa, Coca-Cola HBC Hrvatska, Croatia osiguranje, Marlink Cyber, Franck, Fresenius Kabi, Generali osiguranje, Holcim Hrvatska, Hrvatski Telekom, JT International Zagreb, Kaufland Bulgaria FOOD & Co KD, Kaufland Hrvatska, Grupa KONČAR, Lesaffre Adriatic, METRO Cash & Carry, Nexe, NOVA TV, Pliva, Podravka, Porsche Croatia, Privredna banka Zagreb, Span, Telemach Hrvatska, and Večernji list.
