This weekend, the fifth edition of the public health initiative Uz Pablo budi fit & that's it ("Get fit with Pablo and that’s it”) took place in Rijeka for the first time. The aim of the initiative is to encourage the public to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Under the general sponsorship of JGL, the initiative offered a wide range of recreational and educational activities, with the aim of raising awareness among the people of Rijeka and their visitors of the importance of exercise, a healthy diet, and positive mental attitude.
Those interested in participating could do a workout as part of group fitness demo classes, which lasted three hours and were led by personal trainers from the Snatch Fitness centre in Rijeka. Nutritionists and trainers also provided free BMI measurements and advice regarding nutrition and exercise. There was also a contest, where the best exercisers received 15 awards in the form of gym fees, including a monthly plan and a recreational exercise program.
JGL also organised activities for children, with everyone’s favourite monk seal Meralys, and participants could also try their hand at quizzes sponsored by the Aqua Maris, Vizol S and Prolife brands.
Following Rijeka, the "Uz Pablo budi fit & that's it” initiative will traditionally be taking place in Zagreb, with yoga classes, a running school, and free training sessions at different locations, led by the well-known Croatian fitness master Mario Valentić.
