At the end of 2017, JGL joined the new edition of the university case study competition – Realizator, organized by the Foundation of the University of Rijeka.
The project was once again organised with the primary aim of bringing students closer to the real sector. This year, along with JGL, participants included Infobip, Priroda Public Institution, Metis, and Zagrebačka banka.
The company team offered a business case to the interested participants, titled "Business Development of the Ophthalmic Portfolio - Entry into the Markets of Germany and Poland in the Segment of Self-healing of Eye Diseases.” Out of 28 teams in total, 11 teams applied for JGL’s case, which made it the case with the highest number of applications. Students from different faculties took the opportunity to gain practical experience based on previously acquired knowledge.
The best teams were awarded prizes in the amount HRK 3,000 for the first, HRK 2,000 for the second, and HRK 1,000 for the third place, and they presented their business solutions before JGL’s multidisciplinary team in January.
Spectacular ideas, creative solutions, strong motivation, dedication, and expert analyses were presented before a diverse auditorium, and even Ivo Usmiani, president of the Board of Directors, came to hear the young talent, praising the engagement, motivation and skills of all participants.
