Red Noses send a message– graduate in humour!

As part of a thematic expert meeting organized by JGL, clowndoctors from the Red Noses organisation held an interesting, new programme titled "Graduate in Humour” mid-April.

The activity is aimed primarily at medical professionals that care for sick children and gives them a valuable communication tool with the aim of creating a warmer, more humane and trust-based relationship between the medical staff and patients.

The programme consists of two parts – the theoretical part which includes a lot of examples from the clowndoctors’ rich practice and an interactive workshop where participants learn specific tools that may be of use to them in their everyday work with sick children and the elderly.

"Humour and laughter cannot change the reality of a serious illness, but they can provide ease and enrich the relationship between patients and caregivers, as well as other persons included in the process of taking care of patients.” – this is the message of clowndoctors from Red Noses, an organization supported by JGL for the second year in a row, which has been bringing joy and laughter in hospital rooms of children throughout Croatia for eight years.
