In early April, the Kids Fashion Weekend Spring Festival was held at the Zagreb Zoo, where children had the opportunity to participate in several exciting workshops and activities. The event was also supported by JGL in the form of an Aqua Maris corner, where children could take part in an educational workshop titled “Plant for cleaner air because breathing means life!”.
In addition to planting and sowing seeds of plants well-known for their air-purifying qualities, children and their parents learned about the importance of plants for human health. They decorated their plant pots, which they could take home as an incentive to continue caring for their plants.
The little creative minds joined a workshop on making butterflies, picture frames and jewellery from repurposed materials. This reaffirmed the idea that not all waste should be thrown away and that it can be used creatively with the ultimate goal of preserving nature and the environment.
