Dedicated to the admirable Croatian practice of corporate social responsibility (DOP), the Conference "Dobra Hrvatska" which took place on 27 November 2013 in the Hotel Antunović in Zagreb gathered at one place numerous domestic business subjects whose operation has been in accordance with the DOP principles for several years.
Among them was also our company with the multidisciplinary, educational project "Sea is Alive" that was started in coordination with the Paks Society, and presented to the conference participants by Teo Rakočević, the Director of Corporate Branding. In addition to the overview of the project's current status and all its phases thus far - educational workshops for children, issuing manuals and CDs and the organization of a creative competition - the participants were also presented more closely with the whole concept of our company's corporate social responsibility, and they were introduced to a series of other, socially useful projects which JGL has proudly supported for several years in a row.
In addition to ours, the conference also included the positive stories of DM Croatia, companies IN2, Dvokut Ecro and Vivera, as well as introductory and closing lectures by Mirjana Matešić in the name of the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development and Mira Armour from London, and the closing of the conference itself was marked by the promotion of the planner book "Učinkoviti menadžer 2014." which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
