New edition of the Teddy Bear Hospital on Zrinjevac

For more than a decade, the Teddy Bear Hospital has been committed to the elimination of children's fear of doctors and white coats! Organized by two student organizations, Students' Section of the Croatian Medical Association (SSHLZ) and European Medical Students' Association (EMSA), this interesting and educational project teaches children healthy habits and encourages them to care about their own health.

Another year in a row, the door of the Teddy Bear Hospital will be open on Zrinjevac in Zagreb on 22 and 23 June 2016, providing an opportunity to familiarize children and their stuffed toys with the work of doctors' offices, surgery rooms, laboratory procedures and medical equipment in a fun and interactive way.

Aimed primarily at pre-school children, the project pays special attention to the education of children, especially about health, good hygiene habits, healthy diet and the human body, thus teaching the children from an early age about the importance of health, creating healthy habits and responsible attitude towards their own health.

The JGL company has been supporting this educational event for many years.
