For the third year in a row, JGL's team took part in the global Wings for Life World Run, a large sports project aimed at drawing attention to spinal cord injuries and raising funds for scientific research conducted to find solutions and improve the quality of life of the injured.
The race in Zadar started at 1 pm on 7 May 2017. Among the runners at 24 locations around the world was JGL Family, a team consisting of 20 participants, led by captain Nives Šimac, Head of Global Product Management at JGL. The race in Zadar grows each year, with an increasing number of participants, and the story of unity remains forever. This year, as many as 8000 people started the race in front of Zadar's Forum.
"This is a truly refreshing sports event and a unique spectacle that keeps showing us that racing can be extremely fun and completely different from all those races to which we are accustomed. In addition to a humane goal and excellent organization, it is fascinating to sense such an amount of positive energy in one place, coming from the noble hearts of participants united in achieving the same goal," said Nives Šimac.
Having run a total of 250 kilometres, the members of JGL Family have shown team enthusiasm for creating a better and brighter world!
