In partnership with the Red Cross and the Clinical Institute of Transfusion Medicine, JGL marked the World Blood Donor Day with another corporate humanitarian action for blood donation known as JGL Drop.
A total of 47 employees participated in the action at the Svilno business premises. Ten of these employees donated blood for the first time and the activity resulted in the collection of 38 units of blood.
"The action was very successful and we are proud of all JGL employees whose selfless act will contribute to saving human lives. Seeing as women make up most of JGL’s employees, we are happy with the increase in the average number of female blood donors. It is especially notable that JGL encourages people to take part in the noble act of blood donation twice a year,” said the representatives from Red Cross Association Rijeka.
