Organised by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the sixth “Let’s Support Sustainability” (cro. Podržimo održivo) conference took place in Zagreb on 9 and 10 September 2025 under the topic RE:START. The event brought together experts and leaders from business, politics, and science to discuss topics related to the green transition, sustainable business practices, and the challenges ahead.
During the event, JGL offered conference participants free eye pressure and dry eye screenings as part of the Trust Your Eyes project. Visitors showed strong interest in the screenings, while the team of ophthalmologists highlighted the importance of eye health and the early detection of glaucoma. The Trust Your Eyes project is one of the key performance indicators aligned with the long-term ESG goals of JGL Group, which formed the basis for issuing Sustainability-Linked Bonds at the end of 2024.
JGL representatives, including the ESG team, actively participated in the conference programme and enhanced their knowledge on implementing sustainability in business through the exchange of experiences.
The “Let’s Support Sustainability” conference emphasised that sustainability is not just a regulatory requirement, but also an opportunity for innovation and creative approaches to business. It provided participants with concrete guidance for further developing projects in line with sustainability standards. In addition, the conference reaffirmed that integrity, transparency, and cross-sector collaboration are key to the success of sustainable initiatives.
