Donation for little patients in Klaićeva street clinic

Social sensibility, responsibility, and recognition of the importance of investing in the community as the basic components of excellence were selflessly proven on 26 September 2013 by a donation of the Croatian Employers' Association and members of CEA's Association of Medicines Manufacturers to the Department of Oncology of the Children's Hospital in Klaićeva street.

Formal occasion of handing over HRK 237,500 to help in the purchase of a hematology analyzer took place in the Clinic Directorate, and the event was attended, alongside the CEA's chief executive officer Davor Majetić, by the representatives of AMM, including Larisa Živković, Director of the South-East Europe Region, on behalf of JGL. This is a valuable device that serves to improve hematological analyses of young patients, accelerate diagnostics, reduce the cost of analysis, and the number of service intervals.

Our task and responsibility as individuals is to help those in need. In the year celebrating its 20 years of work, the Croatian Employers' Association has shown once again that it recognizes real needs and that it is prepared to commit to accelerate and facilitate diagnostics for the little patients. "Social responsibility is the basis for employers' work, the pillar which is built every day and which clearly shows the awareness of our actions", CEA's chief executive officer Davor Majetić said during the donation handover.

Besides JGL, the donation was given to the Clinic's director Osman Kadić by the representatives of Belupo, Pliva and Pharmas, on behalf of the Association of Medicines Manufacturers.
