The company’s Board of Directors reached a decision to pay a one-time HRK 5,000 bonus in December to all of the Group’s employees in all of its markets, as a reward for their efforts and excellent results in the past year. They will also receive a Christmas bonus of HRK 1,000, which, together with the HRK 1,500 holiday bonus that has already been distributed, makes a total of HRK 7,500, which is the maximum amount of non-taxable annual bonuses in Croatia.
"We are very happy to be able to reward our employees for their performance. We recorded a 15% growth rate at the end of the third quarter, and we are ending the year according to plan, with double-digit growth. Our key achievement in 2019 was faster sales growth than the reference market in all of our key markets, particularly Russia, Croatia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. As a result, we were able to reduce our indebtedness and net debt, and achieve financial stability and higher profitability,” says Mislav Vučić, JGL’s CEO, adding that he is very grateful to all of the employees, whose hard work and dedication will be duly rewarded.
A portion of the company’s investments will be dedicated to its employees in the next year as well. In addition to improving working conditions and the reward system for outstanding performance, Vučić says that one of the company’s goals is to utilise strategic partnerships to gain and exchange knowledge and good practices.
