As a part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of successful business and under the slogan "JGL već 20 godina brine o Vašem zdravlju" ("JGL taking care of your health for the past 20 years"), JGL will organize free check-ups and entertainment programmes for children at Korzo in Rijeka, on Friday, 17 June 2011.
Check-ups will be performed in a tent at Korzo, at the Trg 128. Brigade HV-a Square and the fun Meralys and Normia workshops for children will be held "right across the street", at the Trg Republike Hrvatske Square.
Doctors and other JGL health personnel will provide the citizens with the following free and preventive check-ups in the period from 10 am to 6 pm:
- they will measure their blood pressure,
- blood sugar and blood lipids levels,
- they will use a non-contact tonometer to measure their eye pressure,
- they will give advice on proper breathing,
- they will give advice on proper diet and define the body mass index upon request.
After the check-up, every person will get their results and the check-up will be more comfortable, easier and quicker than is usually the case.
On the other hand, a number of fun and educational activities for children will take place at the Trg RH Square - from drawing and colouring to playing with Queen Normia and the Mediterranean monk seal Meralys.
All visitors and those who find themselves walking along the Korzo and in doing so "catch" the JGL promo leaflet, will win 20% off all products in the JGL "Zdravlje i ljepota" (Health and beauty) shop (Korzo 20).
Through the celebration of health and children's joy, this will be an ideal opportunity for JGL to celebrate its 20th birthday with the citizens, reminding them of the fact that it has been taking care of their health for two whole decades, with a promise to protect them and treat them "as precious drops of water" in the years to come as well.
