Our products were awarded the gold medal at the 28th INPEX Invention and New Product Exposition held from 19-21 June 2013 in Pittsburgh! Our Aqua Maris nasal cleaning system enriched with sea salt sachets with essential oils and the innovative Meralys nasal spray, which combines the drug xylometazoline and the healing effects of seawater, were chosen among 1800 products from the USA and 22 countries from all over the world. Out of Croatian innovations, 13 products were awarded with a total of 16 medals, of which 13 were gold medals and 3 special prizes. The success is evident considering the small number of given awards, and their significance is accentuated by the fact that INPEX hosted a total of 12 European countries this year, the biggest number so far.
We take special pride in the golden medal and a special prize for the best European innovation of the research team led by Prof. Vilko Žiljak, PhD. As a reminder, our company was the first one to recognise the importance of their innovative infra-red protection and by its incorporation into our products, we provided clear and concrete support to this significant discovery.
The biggest value of INPEX is a direct meeting of innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as excellent possibilities for the global commercialisation of innovations. The organizers have provided the best entrepreneurial visit so far, and the Croatian participants received a lot of attention from the business visitors.
