A Big Win for Aqua Maris and Vizol S on the Belarus Market

Great news from JGL’s Belarus market! Based on a consumer poll, our Aqua Maris and Vizol S (Optinol) brands have won the coveted title of this year’s "No. 1” brand in their respective categories.

Earning 44.7% of a total of 9,241 votes, Aqua Maris won the award in the category of natural products for nasal hygiene and therapy for the third year in a row, thus solidifying its strong position on the Belarus market among its domestic and international competitors. Vizol S (Optinol) won the "No. 1” award in the category of drops for dry eyes with 39.9% of 7,072 consumer votes. It has achieved this great feat in a short period of time since its launch in 2018, as evidenced by a 97% increase in sales on the Belarus market when compared to the year before. 

Nominations include the best companies, products and services based on an independent survey and points awarded by consumers, the selection committee and the organising committee. The week-long voting process takes place online and is funded by the organisers with the aim of collecting objective data on product quality and consumer preference and trust. 

In order to win, the nominees need to receive the highest number of points from all three groups – the consumers, the selection committee and the organising committee, which are worth 40/40/20 percent respectively. The points are then used to calculate the final score for the nominees in each category.
