Expert Associate In Promotion
About me...
My name is Dina Vukoja. I am a doctor of veterinary medicine. Immediately after graduating from college I got a job at JGL as an Expert Associate. I have been in the pharmacy segment for almost five years.
About my workday...
There is no typical workday when you are in the field. Unpredictable and unexpected events are common, but it is part of the charm. My work day usually starts with reviewing emails and preparing for all the visits I plan to make that day. Visiting pharmacies and pharmacists is the most beautiful, but also the most difficult part of this job. It is a fine balance between the friendly relationship we all develop with our clients and the inevitable business agreement that must be reached to our mutual satisfaction.
About work challenges...
The biggest challenge is certainly finding a common language with the client, how to find that "modus operandi" that suits both parties and brings results. This is the moment when I become a social chameleon and adapt to each client individually. Sometimes even a client is not sure how he wants to cooperate with us. These are situations where open communication and strength in asking questions come to the fore. I try to show the client all the options I can offer him and direct him towards the one that is optimal for him and his business.
About the team environment...
My team is my small family within a large JGL family. They taught me everything I know when I first came. I know they are there for me and I can always count on them as they can count on me. The team is the "Joker Call" that none of us hesitate to use when it gets stuck. Every day we all communicate and share situations and events, whether business or private, good or bad. A good team is worth of gold!
About motivation...
I am motivated by the desire to grow and develop. Every new day and every new situation is an opportunity to learn. Every new problem is a new knowledge. I have a great desire, will and motivation to acquire new knowledge and develop in business and private life. This is exactly the reason why I enrolled in the e-Leadership MBA study in Algebra. I look forward to applying everything learned there in my daily work and seeing what new successes it will bring.
About working at JGL...
One of my fields is the Sisačko - moslavačka County, which was badly damaged in the earthquake in December 2021. JGL responded very quickly and decided to help the affected areas through a donation. I feel pride pride that I am part of a socially sensitive and aware organization, a company that is not distanced from society and does not exist for its own sake. This is a company that exists because of its employees and users, patients and society as a whole.
About the desire for new knowledge...
At the moment I am very focused on acquiring new knowledge in MBA studies. I find that I am generally open-minded and have a big number of interests. I regularly follow numerous professional topics and new research in the biomedical field. I like to read modern psychology, literary classics, but also everyday socially popular topics. I like to watch a good movie, documentary, go to a concert…
About my hobbies...
I really like to travel. Although we are quite limited due to the pandemic, I used this time and traveled a lot to our beautiful country. I recommend it to anyone who has the will. It doesn't take much time or money, and the beauties are truly worldly. I really like staying in nature as well as all related activities, such as hiking, skiing, diving, rowing, SUP... Of course, I must not forget reading, listening to music and watching movies.
About success and satisfaction...
I am happiest when I catch some time for myself and escape to Dalmatia to my family. Yet if we all manage to get together, no one is happier than me. In general, staying with family, friends and dear people makes me very happy and gives my life a satisfaction. Them being a part of my life is my greatest success.
