Algebra MBA Students Visit JGL – Sharing Insights on Digital Transformation

On Saturday, 14 June 2025, the 11th cohort of MBA students from Algebra University visited the JGL Pharma Valley complex, as part of their final course on Digital Transformation. The students were eager to explore the practical applications of digital transformation within successful companies, and JGL served as a perfect example to illustrate the real-life journey of development.

The event, organised by the company's Corporate HR, was welcomed by Director of Digital Excellence, Marijo Volarević, who shared experiences and insights into the challenges of implementing advanced digital solutions within JGL. These ranged from internal collaboration tools and operating systems to communication with patients, e-commerce solutions, and distance selling.

The presentation highlighted the evolution and implementation of our strategy, with a particular focus on adaptability in today’s highly dynamic economic and geopolitical landscape. To conclude the visit, JGL's development vision was presented, which served as a foundation for the students to generate their own ideas through case studies and assignments.

Their innovative proposals included:

  • flexible production models,

  • digital twins for process optimization,

  • AI tools for risk prediction,

  • equipment monitoring solutions, and

  • systems for tracking regulatory changes.

The engaging and thought-provoking exchange once again demonstrated the power of collaboration and the vital role of innovation in shaping the future of healthcare and industry.
