On May 19, 2026, JGL hosted the 139th session of the Governing Council of the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR), an organization that has, for three decades, brought together leading Croatian companies committed to promoting sustainable development and responsible business practices. As one of the most active members of HR PSOR since 2000, JGL once again reaffirmed its role in connecting business, sustainability, and excellence.

On 23 May 2026, the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Čavle and the Kvarner Sports and Recreation Association held the event “The Magic Hat in a Great Sporting Adventure”. The event attracted more than a thousand children, parents and other visitors to the Jama playground, once again highlighting the importance of sport, play and togetherness for a healthy and happy childhood.

Thirty-five years ago today, on May 14, JGL began its journey driven by bold ideas, big dreams, and the belief that innovation, knowledge, and dedication can improve people’s health and quality of life.

The campaigns for the Reflustat and Meralys brands achieved outstanding success at this year’s Communication Days 2026 in Rovinj, winning two prestigious awards. The campaigns were recognised among the best in the industry, confirming once again that bold ideas, a different approach, and content with genuine emotion and purpose always resonate with audiences.

Two campaigns for the Reflustat and Meralys brands have been shortlisted for leading marketing and business awards – Effie Awards Croatia and IdejaX. The winners will be announced, as is tradition, at the Communication Days festival, taking place this year from 7 to 10 May in Rovinj.

Executive Director Alenka Jajac-Knez took part in the 43rd meeting of the Lider Exporters Club, held on 14 April 2026 at the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia.

For the third consecutive year, JGL’s commitment to fair and equal opportunities for all employees has been reaffirmed. The Company has been awarded the Equal Pay Champion certificate as part of the Selectio Equal Pay project, confirming that its approach to equality is not a one-off initiative but the result of consistent and continuous effort.

Alenka Jajac-Knez, Chief Executive Officer of JGL, took part in the WiA Connect panel discussion organised by Women in Adria, held on 26 February 2026 in Zagreb.

JGL Group generated total revenue of EUR 306 million in 2025, representing a 22 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2024. Operating profit (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 60 million, up 34 per cent year on year, while profit before tax (EBT) rose by a strong 64 per cent to EUR 47 million.

For its manufacturing capacity expansion project, JGL has been awarded a record €21 million in tax incentives by the Ministry of Economy, in accordance with the Investment Promotion Act.

Over the past month and a half, students took part in Realizator, the university case study competition organised by the University of Rijeka Foundation. The award ceremony was held on 4 December 2025. 

JGL has organised Heart Allies Day for the first time – a new initiative aimed at raising awareness of the importance of regular monitoring of cardiometabolic risk factors. The event was carried out in cooperation with the Croatian League for Hypertension, with support from its student sections and partners. Employee turnout was exceptional – 175 colleagues took advantage of the opportunity for free health measurements and education.
